Craig is a single storey stone built cottage with a large garden. It lies close to the track with ample parking available for cars. The cottage has two bedrooms (a twin and a double). Additionally it has a well equipped kitchen, living room and bathroom. There is a large loft room which makes a great base for kids on wet days, with a plentiful supply of books, games and craft materials.
Off-grid
At Craig cottage, being off grid means no mains electricity, and water is piped in from a nearby burn. The living room boasts a multi-fuel stove, that not only provides heat, but crucially heats up the water and bedroom radiators. Plus, the holiday cost includes a starter supply of wood heat logs and kindling.
If you prefer, there is a generator at your disposal. It offers evening lighting and helps circulate heat to the radiators throughout the cottage. Yet, the house is so well equipped that you likely may not even need the generator. The gas fridge and cooker, the stove for heating and an abundance of LED lighting ensures you are well covered.
Excitingly, starting in 2022, there’s a new solar powered ‘power station’. It is perfect for recharging phones and cameras. Furthermore, It can even power a laptop if needed. Craig has you covered for a comfortable and self-sufficient stay.

Accommodation.
Kitchen
Craig’s kitchen is spacious and well equipped with a gas cooker and undercounter gas fridge. Plus, we supply ample crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment to make cooking your meals a delight.
Living Room.
The central room of the house is the living room. The living room has a multi-fuel stove, comfortable sofa and chairs plus a dining table. With windows to the front and back of the cottage, this is a great room to relax and soak up the tranquility around Craig. It’s worth noting too, that it is a fabulous spot to see the pine martens from. They frequently feed from the window sill at the front, right next to your dining table!
Double Bedroom
The double bedroom, positioned at the Southern end of the holiday home, is spacious and well lit with windows on both sides. From here you can enjoy breath-taking views of the garden, wildlife, loch Etive and the mountains. What a marvellous sight to start your day off! Moreover, it is truly perfect to unwind in after a day of exploration and activities.
Twin Bedroom
The comfortable twin bedroom has two single beds, and enjoys spectacular views out across the loch. The beds have warm duvets, plus extra blankets if required.
Bathroom
The bathroom has a full size bath, plus basin and WC.
Loft
The loft is accessible via a wooden ladder, and provides a perfect wet weather den for children. With a table and chairs for doing crafts and playing games at, plus a large selection of craft materials, it is a great place for adults as well.
Books and games.
There are an interesting range of books here. From a wide range of old classics to modern young adult fiction, as well as books with practical and fun ideas to try out during your stay at Craig. Additionally you will find a range of board games and jigsaws.
Garden
The garden has been semi-tamed, but still has a wild feel to it. There are plenty of places for children to make dens, and the firepit is sheltered, but still has fabulous views. There is ample space to park your car off the track. The garden is dog friendly and securely fenced.
